I the undersigned (or my parent or guardian if under 18), an applicant for an educational tour arranged by my school and Mariden, agree to the following: My tour begins with take off from my chosen departure gateway, and ends upon completion of the flight back to my gateway.

I agree to release Mariden, its officers and employees, and my school and group leaders from and agree not to sue these parties for any claims which I may have arising from , or in connection with, any physical or property damage which I may suffer from any cause whatsoever other than those caused by the actual negligence of such parties. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, I release such parties from, and agree not to sue such parties for any physical or property damage which I may suffer resulting from acts of God, war, strikes or government restrictions, terrorist activities or the acts of omissions of any other agents over whom such parties have no direct control, including without limitation, airlines, bus companies, railways and shipping companies and hotels. I agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless such parties from any claims, demands, liabilities, causes of action, and cost or expenses arising out of personal injury or property damage that I either cause or contribute to while participating on this tour, and from any financial obligations which may incur on my behalf.

I understand that the air carrier's liability for loss or damage to baggage or property or for injury or death to person, is limited by their tariffs, or the Warsaw convention or both. Mariden shall have no responsibility to or for me when I am absent from supervised activities (such as visits to friends or relatives) or during stay-ahead-behind option periods. I agree to abide by Mariden's and foreign countries' laws and regulations and the reasonable directions of my group leaders or Mariden's tour directors during my tour. Failure to do so may result in Mariden excluding me from the balance of the tour. I understand that to disobey such laws, rules or directions is to waive the right to refund of any part of my program fee, and that Mariden's tour director, or the teacher in charge may send me home at my own expense. If I become ill or incapacitated, the above parties may take any action they deem necessary for my safety and well-being, including securing medical treatment and transporting me home if necessary.

I understand that it is my responsibility to secure necessary travel documents (passport or visa). Failure to do so does not constitute grounds for a refund. I understand that I am solely responsible for any illegal activities such as theft, vandalism or any other activities which are against the law in a foreign country and shall not have or buy any illegal substances or products.
